"The distillery was founded in 1906 by Nicola De Giorgi and was a main source of the country's livelihood at the time, thanks to the production of Anisette. Kissed by success and by a patent granted by the ruler of the Royal House in 1920, the distillery is now immersed in silence, scarred by pigeons droppings and pine tops. This temple of industrial archeology was declared a national monument in 2005."
